Ear Pierced today....

Good Morning everyone! Thank you for all your lovely messages yesterday it was so nice to hear from you and thank you for all your words of comfort it is really appreciated more than you will know.


Well today is another very wet day outside. It is pouring down as i write this. I have kept my Son of school today for the first time in a long time as i am not guilty of keeping him off for nothing.... But i thought today we would go into town with my Mum and get him his ear pierced. He has been asking to get it done for a long time so today on my dad's birthday he is getting it done....LOL Not sure how my dad would have felt about it though!!!! I don't think Jason has any idea what he is actually wanting and i hope that he doesn't make a fuss or cry as he will set me off. I am such a wimp now , In fact i got to be such a wimp just with having him. I hate to see him upset as i get a lump in my throat , But i can't even watch a sad or a happy movie without getting teary , Jason just sits there and will say is that your eyes leaking again mum.... He is so use to it now. LOL


I am looking forward to getting out and about town for a change as seems like such a long time ago that we did that. We will go and get something to eat as well.... Maybe from the Muffin shop depending on how we all feel .

Wet Day in Scotland...

Well it's another Wet Day in Not so Bonnie Scotland Today!
Thank you all so much for all your Comment's, It really has blown me away by how many of you have commented... I can't thank you enough.

I am having a quiet day in today ,I am going to try Start a new kit... Just not sure what yet.... Any Suggestion's?


I am feeling a bit blah today. Tomorrow would have been my dad's 62nd Birthday if he were still here and I have been thinking about him a lot the past few days.
My dad died just over 3 years ago now and i still find it very very hard to deal with . I have lost my Grans and Grandads over the years and it did hurt as we were very close... BUT nothing can compare to how i feel at loosing my dad, I just wish that it would get easier as I hate crying every time i talk about him. My dad absolutely LOVED Jason , he just seemed to glow when he was with him, I have never seen my dad so mellow , Jason could wrap him around his little finger .... They spoilt him rotten. I stayed with my parent's when Jason was born and so he got to spend a lot of time with him, even when i moved out they still saw each other nearly every day as i was always at my parent's house. At least he got to know his Grandad which i am really glad about. I also have a lot of video footage that is off my dad and Jason so he will get to see him as well some day when i have the courage to put it on.

Ok i am rambling here. Lets get on.... Today's kit in the store for $2.00 is my Flakey kit. This kit is really Lovely, the elements in it are so pretty , the preview really doesn't do it any justice.

This is my Favourite part of this kit as I just Love how the border turned out with the flakey edge.... hope that you like it too.

Monday is here again...

Here we are again at the start of another week. 22 days to Christmas. OMG I am soooo not ready for that yet. I think my son is wanting the whole of the Argos book, he is now saying don't worry mum i'm not asking you to get it Santa will get it for me. eeek.....LOL
I put my tree up on Friday for him as he had been going on about it for a couple of weeks or more and driving me mad , So I thought ok last day of school and DEC tomorrow I will put it up... BUT being a big tree in about a 100 pieces I thought I would put it up before he got in, So I didn't have him trying to mix up all the branches. I got it up ok with the odd interruption from Smokey and Shadow jumping in the box to have a sniff or a nibble of my tree branches. Why Shadow was nibbling at them I have no idea. But it went up before Jason got in and I put the lights on which I must admit I detest doing as its a 7 foot tree and quite thick it needs a lot of bulbs. I noticed the bottom strand of lights were not lit...So I put my hand in the tree to pull the strand out and see if I could see anything and electrocuted myself. There was a broken bulb and I couldn't see it and put my hand right on it , I let go quick but it gave me quite a shock and I have a little hole in my middle finger now. it's not to bad now but it was blackish white when I first did it, I can see why my brother wants a fibre optic tree now....LOL Anyway Jason got in and we then put all the baubles on the tree and he drove me mental all night with a card that someone who's name i won't mention....... LINDA CUMBERLAND sent him last year , it sings Holly jolly Christmas and all I got all night was holly jol , holly jol, holly jolly ch, holly joll he was opening and shutting the card so that was all I was getting. Anyone want to buy a kid!!!!!! In fact FREE to Good home ..... LOL
OK think I have rambled on enough for today.

A Touch of Christmas Preview

For those of you that don't know me my Name is Karen Wallace , also known as karen9417 around the site. I am a bit Nervous of doing this so please be kind to me ....lol
I have been a designer for over a year here at TSG, I started of as one of the CT and then Robin asked me to be there CT Leader... Which i must admit i was nervous of as well. (I guess I am a nervous person....LOL ) But I love it and we have a great bunch of Ladies on our CT ( If you think you would like to try your hand at being on the CT here at TSG, drop me a line, as we are on the look out for a few more CT to add to our Team of already great women :) ) I don't create as many LO's these days as I would like because between designing and my 7yr old Son Jason I am kept quite busy. Jason has just gone over to his Gran's for a few hours to play with his playstation ( he wants to show her his new game) so I am all alone with my Two cat's just doing what I love doing best playing around on the computer.

About the goodies given out here... It has been stated OVER and OVER again that they will be available for ONLY 24 hours! I find it very disheartening when we have people bugging our designers about putting the links back up. I am really sorry for those of you who missed the goodies. Our designers work hard and I really appreciate that they share their talent with us all. It is NOT the designers that decided on the 24-hour time limit so PLEASE do NOT contact them trying to get them to give you links that you miss out on! In the past, most the designers have listed their goodies in the TSG Store after they have been taken down, but some choose to not do this. They want them to be something special for our regular readers. So my suggestion, check back here every day if you don't want to miss out on anything!!

I am sure I have upset some of you, and I am sorry....but this is something that REALLY has me upset! These are MY opinions, and not something coming from any of the TSG designers or administration. So PLEASE don't take it out on them. I want to personally thank all the TSG designers again for all their generosity. You all work SO hard and give of yourselves so much! Please know that it isn't going unnoticed.
