This should be an exciting as well as a learning challenge. Cheryl will supply a mini kit each month for you to use for your layout, hopefully using unusual colors which will be perfect for any black and white photo. Thus, the challenge name.......color outside the lines - as in stepping out of your comfort zone and using color to showcase your photos!
We will also be learning how to repair the color of your old discolored, yellowed photographs AND how to effectively turn them to great black and white photos using our graphics programs, being able to control the color WITHOUT using "desaturate" or "grey scale", and other techniques for "recreating" our photos.
The challenge will last all month long and everyone that completes it will receive a 2nd mini kit coordinating with the 1st as your posting bonus.
So.............meet Cheryl in the chatroom Thursday, January 8th at 9PM ET to get the password to the "Simply Black 'n White" kit shown below.
Go to the forum HERE to download the kit and review all the details of this challenge. Cheryl will be waiting for you in the chat room Thursday night, to get going with this FUN Challenge.
This month's lesson will be colorizing just part of our photo. You'll want to choose a nice photo where there's an object or even part of the clothing, or anything you want to recolor.
See ya Thursday night!!
